While you are here I encourage you to check out my [[Student Examples]] page. On this page you will find some examples of students using Glogster to create projects. I highly recommend using Glogs in education. My students absolutely loved this project. They kept working well after the due date to improve their product. That is rare treat for me.

Something that has changed the way I look at the world of education is Twitter. Twitter may not be for everyone, but it has given me a paradigm shift in the greatest of ways. In short, it is a virtual teacher lounge where you are in control of the conversation. It has put me in place with other Science teachers all over the world. It has allowed me to view other kids work and share my own experiences. Twitter can also help you troubleshoot and solve problems quickly. Almost all companies have a twitter presence. Want to find someone or something on Twitter? Use: [[http://www.twellow.com/|Twellow]]

Why Private Wiki? I don't know why you wouldn't. What I have found is that some teachers just don't like to teach with technology. That is fine, you better bring it everyday and I hope one of your student's teachers does. A well rounded tam of teachers is huge!

Running a private wiki gives me a little more work, but once you get into it you will see that the rewards far out weigh the effort. Go and request membership to the private wiki yourself. Tell me who you are, what and where you teach....and you are in.
